Founder – photofoodblog.com
Privately Held; Online Media industry
July 2010 – Present (1 year)
I love food and I am finding out that so does everyone else! As the Founder and COO of photofoodblog.com I facilitate a community of food lovers and enjoy it immensely. I am happy to see so many people come together to share!
I monitor and make changes to the site daily. My day to day is to implement strategic development changes, integrate the latest social media tools and make sure the community has someone to lean on for help and direction. I also love seeing the food!
This project was a simple experiment with mobile blogging using my Android smartphone to photograph just about every meal I was having. Not everything made it and some times I was simply prompted because the food was too beautiful to not want to show everyone.
To eat and enjoy is good; but to share is divine.
So here we are.
A little bit of notoriety, time and some great dishes across the land and we have some direction for the PFB site. We now have posts from San Francisco to Detroit. Portland to Florida.

Software Engineer – The Game, LLC
Information Technology and Services industry
September 2005 – September 2010 (5 years 1 month)
Over 5 years utilizing a wide range of technologies to develop solutions for The Game. Most of this time was spent learning methodical approaches within different environments to broaden my programming knowledge and project planning abilities.
These environments include both open source and Windows based development, mostly Web. The Windows Application development revolves around an external software package dispersed through the US to Sporting Goods stores to allow order placement to our main data center. This app utilizes ASP.NET service oriented architectures to send and retrieve data through common web protocols. I have also maintained several PHP/MySQL ecommerce sites.
My concentration is in a C#/ASP.NET Web application called GameOne. It creates an automated bridge between new, external orders and our MAS200 accounting software minimizing work load for the entire work force at The Game. This bridge increases productivity and decreases the amount of effort required to maintain incoming orders. The use of ASP.NET AJAX partial page updates and use of LINQ has allowed me to create a quick, user-friendly, data-driven interface in minimal time. The GameOne project is the first organized effort to utilize a service oriented approach to combine our MAS 200 ERP accounting package with our separate, customized order entry software.
The release of Build-A-Cap™ has proved to be the largest and most anticipated interactive cap builder The Game fans have ever seen. It began as a small Flash project and has been released to the public as of September 2009. Check it out here: http://www.2thegame.com/buildacap
In my spare time at work, I also use The Game’s Facebook Fan page and Twitter account to help circulate the “g” logo and act as a beacon for headwear trends.
I continually utilized Flash, jQuery and AJAX applications to serve the user a rich environment to elevate The Game in the market and strengthen our brand.
